The Hearts Behind White Heather Bridal
Faye and Louise
Faye
A Kingussie native, Faye returned home after a career in research and over a decade away to pursue her dream of self-employment. Starting in hospitality, she’s now fulfilling a long-time vision with Louise to open White Heather Bridal Boutique.
Faye loves travelling, running, great food, and 80’s power ballads, but her family—her husband and two children—are at the heart of her world. She looks forward to meeting brides, hearing their plans, and helping them find their dream dress.
Louise
Louise has called Kingussie home since childhood. With a background in hospitality, floristry, dog grooming, and wedding catering, she has always loved playing a part in creating magical wedding days.
An avid traveller, gym-goer, and dog walker, Louise also proudly claims her title as a Taylor Swift superfan. Now, as co-owner of White Heather Bridal Boutique, she’s excited to help brides find their perfect “yes to the dress” moment.
Together, Faye and Louise bring their passion and expertise to make every bride’s experience truly special at White Heather Bridal Boutique.

The Essence of White Heather Bridal
White heather, a rare gem among the Highland’s purple heather, holds a special place in Celtic folklore as a symbol of good luck, love, and new beginnings. Inspired by the legend of Malvina, whose heartfelt wish for happiness turned purple heather white, the boutique’s name reflects this enduring symbol of hope. Brides have long included white heather in their bouquets for good fortune, and at White Heather Bridal Boutique, this tradition continues to bring a touch of magic to every bride’s journey.
